Correll's Jon Jensen Installed as WFII Chairman

In a ceremony in Rome, Italy, Correll Insurance Group President & CEO Jon Jensen was installed as chairman of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII) on April 2, 2019. The organization represents insurance agents and brokers from more than 100 national associations in more than 80 countries across the world. It works to represent the interests of intermediaries with international institutions and to deepen the understanding of the role played by insurance brokers and agents in global commerce.

Jensen, who is also Chairman-elect of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA), is the first officer of the Big “I” to chair WFII. His term as chair is for one year.

"I'm honored to be chosen to chair the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries, which does incredibly critical work globally," Jensen said. "I look forward to working with our World Council and Executive CSE Committee to continue to facilitate great relationships across our various national entities, as well as work together to continue to promote all of the noble and invaluable efforts from our agents to support their local customers and economies."

Jensen has been involved with WFII for several years, and in 2018 he was selected to represent the Big “I” on the federation’s Executive Committee. His involvement as Chairman will continue through the March 2020 conference in Singapore.
